Art exhibition 09

 As you all know, I have been taking art as a subject in Pembroke for two years and it has finally come to an end.

I have learnt soooo much and enjoyed eveli moment of it!

At the end of the year, SACE (SAM), and IB (what im doing) art students display their work which was used for their examination. We just had the opening yesterday and it was incwedibew!

Lastly, my Menhir sculptures! One is glass btw, cant really see it. But its a smaller replica of the design used for the steel sculpture. Glad to say the school bought my steel sculpture and will be displayed at school. Better still, I get to take the glass one back :)

Hello my fellow stalkers, admirers and members of my fanclub; Dana-Jam-me-Chinn.

In case you were wondering what my fanclub logo is like. Well, let me give u a descriptive detail (I was going to draw it but uploading it on xanga is too much effort). Basically, the logo has my beautiful face on the left, a devoted admirer on the right looking up to the sky with a happy face. Why is this fan so happy? Its because Dana jam me chin! GET IT! like me, holding a jar of jam and jaming his chin.

I know... I am such a comedian.. ha.Ha.HA! Yes yes... My fanclub has informed me that t-shirts with dana-jam-me-chinn logos are available at only $50! With an additional payment of only $10 you will get your face on the logo as the fan on the left being jam-ed by me! Yes! How about that! $60 for a customised shirt with both our faces on it!

Not only does buying the shirt benefit you, it benefits other people too!

10% of the profit will proceed to a selected charity by me. After hours and hours of research and pain staking decisions, I have chosen to give the proceeds to me, as I am the charity. What better way to spend your money?

That is the most narcissist thing I have written about myself ever.

Anyway, in real life I am a lonely, depressed, lazy asian that still looks like a 16 years old even when she is turning 19 soon.

So, I have decided to list 10 cool things about me to attract new friends to replace those friends who 'don-fren-you-anymore' after finding out I have a blog.

I shall now start. Note that this is in random order.

1. I can make geeky dance step look cool. You should see me do 'the william hung'

2. Sometimes I burst out laughing during classes for no reason.

3. Being a passanger while I am driving makes you appreciate how lucky you are to live till now.

4. Sometimes it takes me 5 minutes to realise that 5 minutes ago you were talking to me. So you can say 'Dana your an idiot and your slow' and I will respond to that and prove you wrong 4 minutes later.

5. If your a stranger and you have an authorative tone to your voice, I will unconsciencly follow your orders. I have proven this many times before.

6. If your my friend, you will always feel intelligent when im beside you no matter how dumb you are.

7. I have a blog. Can I get any cooler? (Apparently I can if I jump in a bucket of ice) --> proves no. 6

8. You can steal countless of my million dollar plans if you were my friend. eg. fat transfusion machine, umbrella with my face on it, eating simulator placed in jails specifically to punish bulimics and anaeroxics by locking them in.

9. I will never take a picture of me doing the asian peace sign and open my mouth while I am holding a fork with food.

10. New borns have bigger eyes than I do.

There you go! 10 cool things about ur idol whom you love,adore and look up to (so you will have the opportunity to request 'Dana-jam-me-chinn!'). Get it?! 'look up to', so that I can jam ur chin? Like... what I said in the begining of this entry. Oh gosh, here I am being all awesome with no lame jokes at all again..

This is such a random entry. I am totally going to get more friends this way. For those who dont catch sarcasm, I shall type it out to make it more obvious. *sarcasm*

'Why, YES! I have only started to study for my mocks which is next week. Before today, I have been doing absolutely nothing!'

Nah.. I have been doing work.. I KNOW! INCWEDIBEW!! I have been doing up my bio prac which is full of errors. Every week, I have been swamp with some assesment that counts towards my grade. SOoooo.. Faham-faham lah.. Didnt blog to my loyal viewers (if i have any).

I had my formal recently (you can see photos on facebook). It takes forever to upload pics on xanga. It was good! The theme was 'Garden of Earthly Delights' (apparently, the student council did not know there was a book titled that which was full of naked people or sth - from unreliable source). ANYWAY! I went dateless as I hoped for (not hard to accomplish either). I dislike social obligations and I had so much fun during the All Saints Prom 07' without dates and party with JUST FRIENDS! :) Me miss you all sooo much!! Which reminds me.. Any of you who are reading this, could u please update me where are u going to study? I feel so outdated :( I didnt know shereen went to kl...

I have been attending 'gatherings' over the past few weekends. All pics are in facebook.

One of my friends posted an entry on formal. It had a picture that said '.. me with a bunch of crazy girls' and I WAS IN IT!  There were only 2 girls in the pic i think. One of my friend with her friend and its me and him looking at the camera. Usually, I would be pessimistic and take it the wrong way.

Meh.. Screw negetivism (yes.. a new made up word).. Its good to be called crazy once in awhile (even when the most crazy thing ive done so far is leave all my work to the last minute).

In short, that is pretty much what I have been doing ever since my arrival from KK.

I guess I have to answer your question! :)

You see, the advantages of being in the boarding house gives you the opportunity to meet new people, with new habits that are unfamiliar to you. I am sure everyone is chilled about it. But whever I witness it I just start to cringe naturally. I cant help it! Its like a reflex!! Dont worry! I shall not bore you.. Its a short list really...

Cringe Barometer:

Situation number:

1. The smell of microwaved blue cheese                                      ** + immediate walking away

3. Couples hooking up from every left, right, front and behind      * + subtley look up to the sky and admire stars

4. Hearing a girl say sth along the lines of 'Well, he didnt look at me!'  
    when giving reasons to explain why a rumour about a particular guy being gay could be true            **
- Wow... I should call her a  'Ur-a-gay-meter'. So, if a guy checks her out he is straight.
If he doesnt.. HE IS GAY!

5. Getting piles of homework and assignments                                              ** + go into denial and watch drama

6. Having to use sooo much math in my art work (long story)                                                                 *

7. A girl who intentionally talk/shout about their/my friend's personal info that I do not wish to hear
    while doing my homework in ANOTHER ROOM!

8. The same girl who on top of giving me a scared image of my friend in my mind

If she was some very hot chick with some very hot boyfriend or something.. I really wont mind. But as I heard her voice that triumph the tv volume while I was in ANOTHER ROOM. I couldnt help but cringe. People say I have a wild imagination and more of a visual-kinda-person (cant really tell). Well.... hearing something and then helplessly automatically imagine it in a visual-kinda-way.... all i can say is '***************************'

Dang.. I should be more cultured.. But I really cant help cringing!

KL WAS SUPER FREAKING AWESOME!!!!

Yeaaah guys, those of you who were not in kl missed out.... A LOT!

As I mentioned in previous entries, I stopped over at KL during the holidays to celebrate Meli's bday in advance.

HAPPY BELATED BDAY MELI! (once again).

To sum it up (but i honestly can not sum up the amount of fun that I/WE had), played paint ball. Then we went for dinner at like 9pm. Elsha, sam, eric, dana, melissa, melody, walts, chloe (waltsons gf), joanne, yvonne, ivan and meli's clubbing dude played paintball. Whoever was in my team won.. Yeah!!!!! WINNER!! Only me,meli, ivan, melo, yvonne, joanne elsha, walt, chloe stayed on in the hotel room. Yep.. we are awesome! I manage to fit into the room.. Ofcourse, some slept on the floor. But I think most of us barely slept. EXCEPT FOR WALTSON! U SLEEP LIKE AN ELEPHANT! (how do elephants sleep anyway?).. Playing Taboo was really fun because the weirdest description of things came out of peoples mouth.

I met new ppl from this trip.. One being super duper cheerful Joanne! Thanks for lettin me use ur flats! The other is Chloe.. Thanks for keeping waltson under control (he is usually very cacat... JOKING WALT!).. Nah.. thanks so much for playing paintball with us. I hope we did not scare u too much with our weirdness.

One thing im upset about is i didnt meet yvonne's bf.. HAIH!! TULA U YVONNE!

I would like to thank Pik kaye for bringing me around KL on the first day! SO MUCH YUMMY FOOD IN UR HOUSE! Me would also like to thank the whole KL gang and mostly to MELISSA MALUDA who arranged all of this (although its her bday), for scaring the hell out of me by telling me how some1 commited suicide recently at at her hostel, and letting me stay with u.

ME ENJOY VELI-DE-VELI-VELI MUCH! ('I enjoyed it very much' in broken ingerish)

Moral of the story:

As you all know, I have gained weight ever since I went to Australia.

Yes. The scales know it.

The people around me knows it.

My family knows it.

AND I FUCKING KNOW IT TOO!

People, I know.. Seeing a fat Dana makes you soooooo tempted to come up to me and mention how much I have gained weight. But it is not fucking funny for the fat Dana to listen to it 7 times in one day by different people and have to hear it at home as well as in the car.

Here are SOME of the comments i have recieved over the past week:

'So Dana, why are you so fat now?'

'Dana, you came back from Adelaide right? Wow, your really *do u've gain lots of weight pose*!'

'Hey.. You've gain weight right?'

'Wow... U're very bloated already!'

'You are a **** number two!' (**** is a name of a friend who 'apparently' gained weight as well)

'Dana ahh... *Start pinching my fats* U can enjoy now ah.. but in future, u need to cut down'

'Omg, Dana...Your arms are so big! Ur leg is very fat. U need to cut down.'

Hey guys.. I can take the first few comments. Some were funny... 'ha.ha.ha' ...But after my 3rd day home.. I feel like the must fucking ugly thing ever lived. It is hard enough recovering eating issues back in form 4-5. Now ur just making me feel like recovering from it is a regret. It is also not comforting to hear all this in my house, the one place im SUPPOSE to feel comfortable in. It is not motivating to tell me how slim i was before and how fat i am now while im eating or driving.

So, I am just letting everyone else who is unaware that another 10 people are waiting in line to tell me the same thing as you are when u see me.....
